I have a concern that I would like to raise but I respect everyone's freedom to disagree with me. I don't want to impose my concern or will upon others but I do want to bring it up and have it discussed.

If I am the only one with this concern and others don't think it's an issue then I'll stand down on this and that can be the end of it.

I feel that having the link to davidicke.com on the WFS menu is reducing the credibility of WFS.

Here's why...

I spent years online researching various topics including many conspiracy theories and other rubbish, trying to find something verifiable, with little luck.

What I found is that false information is used to prevent the real information from shining through. Just look at the various bogus conspiracy theories around 9/11. (I'm not saying all of them are bogus, just many.)

Most of the theories are rubbish and being peddled by those social elites who are desperate to distract us away from the truth. The truth contains remedies that they don't want us to find.

I gave up actively researching for a period of time because I felt that the information available was full of claims that couldn't be verified and I figured it pointless to continue.

It disheartened me until I accidentally stumbled across a video from Mark McMurtrie which re-ignited my flame and desire to learn the truth.
I'm very thankful that I did stumble across it, otherwise I'd still be a free man in sheep's clothing.

I almost did exactly what TPTW want. I almost gave up and said "it's all too hard to figure out the truth".
I believe this is exactly the attitude that most people and it's why we're having such a hard time getting the truth out.

I didn't do an enormous amount of research into David Icke's claims that we're all being controlled by shape-shifting reptilians, but I did enough to realize that it's effectively working as a distraction away from the real truth's that WFS is trying to expose.

Many of the claims just don't make sense yet people still believe it. It's all based around a concept that WILL NEVER be provable and that's the whole point.

WFS is all about something that is provable (or arguably provable). There should be logic behind all standings, not faith.
Theories are fine as long as they're put in their place and labeled correctly.

I didn't see any part of that alien rubbish that said "go do your own research". It was all based on faith just like religion has used to oppress people for years.

Those who are truthful will tell you to go do your own research and think for yourself. That's why I responded positively to the pioneers in the free community.

I'm not saying that there's no useful information on the davidicke.com site, just that the positive information doesn't necessarily outweigh the misinformation.

I feel that encouraging people to go to a website that uses the name and photo of a guy who is clearly a distraction, is severely damaging to our plight.

I believe the alien theory is going to be used widely as a distraction away from truth and remedy, and that David Icke has been fundamental to driving that rubbish.

I've seen a lot of so called docos about aliens and many are quite convincing. Many talk about U.F.O.s (which could be any form of man made craft) and allow people to draw the conclusions that they're aliens.

The amount of energy put into selling the alien theory makes me think it's not a simple hoax. It seems to me that it's a very craftily made misinformation campaign. It could even be the basis of a new "religion".

Because of this, my skeptical and cynical side would even go so far as to see the link as evidence that WFS has been infiltrated.
I have no reason to believe that though. I'm thinking it's just the result of compromise (as there is some useful info/discussion on the forums).

I fear others may see that link on the menu and think, just as I did, "ah this is just another misinformation site, employed by TPTW".

I'd like to know if any others have this concern. Am I missing something? Am I over-reacting?
I'm open to being corrected if someone has something valid to add.

I'm not yet going to say that the link should be removed. But if others agree with me then I may start saying it.

I hope this post won't be negatively received. I have nothing against anyone involved in WFS or even those who put up that link. I doubt it was done with any ill-intent.
I just think it would be irresponsible of me to remain quiet with this concern, when we need to do all we can to help the truth prevail.

I agree with this comment. I've seen a few videos by Mr. Icke but I always leave them feeling like there's more of a con job going on than a real attempt at discerning truth. A bunch of greedy elites controlling nations through the issuance of currency and credit? Ok, I can see that logically and in the historical record. A bunch of elites who profit from disaster and social propaganda? Well who can't see that after a few of the right questions and observations? Reptilian/human hybrids that come from outerspace? Too much for me, and I like to think I have a very open mind. The previous poster said it correctly: if logic, reason, and facts were behind it, you could see it, touch it, and identify it's instruments of design and intent....but this is only opinion without proof....a 'faith' or religion. Sorry Mr. Icke, but until you have solid evidence, it's merely a fairy tale that many want to believe because the admiralty system they find themselves under is making them tired and want nothing more than to get away from this planet and all it's misery.

I think we need to focus on the real problems. Our monetary system and the farce that is our legal system should take precedent. Don't forget to kiss and dance, and tell your kids you love them......often.

i too found his fixation on reptilian shapeshifters...off putting....i long ago realised the alian destraction[after realising the nearest star..is 2000 years away..[at the speed of light]...so figure us[or them traveling anywhere...would take 100 generations...its purely insane

there are those seeking a new religion...based on an alian mesiah...in fact i heard it was planned to spring it on us arround 2k...reportedly they had plastic surgiclly altered actors...built flying saucers[based on the peale system of levitation...and using holograms...all was ready...but the timming went wrong...and it never 'happend'
